With years of construction and real estate investment experience, Mr. Messam is no stranger to success. He served Florida State University as Student Body Vice President and starting Wide Receiver, and was selected as a college free agent by the NFL’s Cincinnati Bengals in 1997. Mr. Messam is regarded as one of the fastest rising young professionals in the construction industry. Through his leadership, Asset Builders has successfully completed projects for clients including Palm Beach School District, City of Oakland Park and the Broward Sheriffs Office.  Recent projects won by Asset Builders include Broward County’s New Civil/Family Courthouse Construction Project Manager budgeted at $200,000,000 and Miami Dade College Wolfson Campus Student Union Construction Manager at Risk budgeted at $25,000,000.  Both projects gross approximately 700,000 square feet combined.

Mr. Messam holds several certifications and credentials in Construction Project Management, OSHA Safety, and Quality Control. He is also one of a few African Americans who have a Certified General Contractors License and USGBC LEED AP designation.  Mr. Messam is poised to lead Asset Builders to even greater success. With years of real estate investment experience, Mrs. Messam has been the soul of our company’s success. After graduating from Florida State University, with a degree in Management Information Systems, Angela has provided high level business consulting for many Fortune 500 companies such as Bank of America, SunTrust, PNC Bank, First USA, American Express, Citibank Puerto Rico, and many other industry leading institutions.

 As partner of Asset Builders, Angela oversees the company’s operations and strategic expansion. She also handles various aspects of construction management including, human resources, contracts and the firm’s information technology systems.

With her LEED AP® credential by the United States Green Building Council, Angela has demonstrated her knowledge of promoting sustainable construction principles in projects. This unique qualification, as a principal, adds to her ability to provide executive leadership to our team on any project seeking LEED Certification.
